Inspiration...Seashells!!!

Seashells reflect the peace and tranquility of the ocean!  They are a wonderful renewable resource and for those that live by the sea, it is easy to find them free of charge after the tide pools drain and the predators have had their fill of a meal.

There are so many varieties of shells...so many colors!  There are vibrant pinks and purples, earth tones and many that are pure white.  Depending on what you are able to find you can do several different table settings with the same theme while keeping the appearance of each separate from one another.

Emboss:

1. To mold or carve in relief.

2. To decorate with or as if with a raised design.

3. To adorn; decorate.

I appreciate beautiful vintage embossed items!  Antique shops are one of my favorite places to walk around and glean artistic inspiration.  Embossing adds that special touch where beholders know the artist went to extra lengths to make the piece pleasing to the eye.  Consider embossing projects for your next Shabbat table to make an aesthetically pleasing table for your guests!

I love sparkles, glitter, and rhinestones!  I love how the light catches and plays on them, the reflection as they throw the light around them.

Inspiration...Peacock Feathers!

A great way to make splash on a budget is with peacock feathers!  They are vibrant, amazing natural pieces of artwork.  One of the best parts about them is you are not hurting the bird to decorate with their feathers...they naturally molt (drop) their feathers once a year.  Peacock feathers will work with almost any existing place setting, be creative!
